What is ttbase?

ttbase is the online database for all things related to Tedeschi Trucks Band's live performances - created by fans, for fans.

This is incredible! How did this come about?

This resource has long been a need for the Swamp Family. Seth began recording setlist information in excel spreadsheets in late 2019 with no background in web development or knowledge of how to turn it into something that all fans could benefit from. Jake also has been drawn to tracking setlists - even from wayback in the Deadbase days - and always wanted to get something similar going for TTB. Fast-forward to October 2024: there was yet another post in a TTB facebook group asking if such a database existed, and through that post, Seth and Jake were connected with Adam Scheinberg, who wrote code for phish.net once upon a time. He created a software system during the pandemic called called [Songfish](https://songfishapp.com/ "Songfish"), and his passion project provided the framework for ttbase. Our team has been working tirelessly to get this live prior to Sun, Sand and Soul.

Do I have to create an account? And does it cost anything?

No to both! By creating an account, you'll be able to add shows to your "groups" - shows you attended, favorites, or any other grouping you'd like - and run stats on those shows.

While it doesn't cost anything to use the site, it does cost money to run the site. If you feel inclined to help in that regard, we have a couple of options over on our Donate page.

I found some incorrect information on the site. How can I let the ttbase team know so it can be corrected?

The cardinal sin of ttbase! It cannot remain as such. Please use the contact form to let us know of the error/omission (specifying date and location of the show) as well as supporting evidence so that we can make it right!

Sure, the site is great - but I have lots of other ideas that could make this infinitely better. Can I share my thoughts with the team?

We do, too! At launch, we've incorporated the core data of what we believe makes this resource valuable, but there is so much more ahead for ttbase. You're welcome to submit your ideas via the contact form for our team to consider. As new features roll out, we'll keep the community in the loop via social media - so be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instragram!

Well, congrats on getting this thing up and running! Is there anyone you'd like to thank?

Thank you, thank you - and where to begin! First and foremost, the band and crew that we all hold so dear. For all the great music, memories, and friendships that have come along the way. To all the tapers - we have legends among us (Alex Leary, Ed Gendelman, Z-Man...) and folks who just know how to press the record button on a handheld device...but all of these artifacts were crucial in getting the database to this point. (Side note: if you've got a recording - stellar or not - that has yet to make its way to the Live Music Archive, please do so! It takes a village, y'all!) To Adam Scheinberg - phish.net code guru who created a separate framework that allowed the data collected in spreadsheets to transform into an interactive database that serves the whole community. To the entire Swamp Family - your posts in facebook groups, the TTB app, etc. of show reviews, setlist photos, audience videos, and more were as vital to this effort as the show recordings on LMA. Please keep 'em coming! If you have setlist info to contribute, submit that to our team via About > Contact. If you have pictures you'd like to send, shoot us an email at [email protected]. And a special shoutout as well to Zac Transport - he responded to the original facebook group post where another member had asked about the existence of such a database, and he ultimately got Seth, Jake, and Adam in a (virtual) room to get this train moving. He's been a huge encouragement along the way!
